Whiz Kids Africa
A fun and unique approach to digital Literacy with lessons offered online. This is a 10 – session program that gives tweens and teens of ages 7 – 17 years a chance to tap into their creativity and help them discover how to harness technology effectively in the digital age.
This comprehensive and holistic program focus on the growth, well being and development of the African children in this digital age.

Whiz Kids Africa Kids Can Code
Whiz Kids Africa – Kids Can Code program consists of the following themes through which the children will learn as they code:
- Online Safety – Be Internet Smart (Protecting yourself, information and privacy online) and Environmental Social & Governance (ESG)
- Environmental – Climate change
- Social– Impact of COVID 19 Pandemic
- Governance – School leadership and Political participation
- Big 4 Agenda – Food Security, Affordable Housing, Health Care, Manufacturing
Program Goals:
- Prepare children to integrate in the fourth industrial revolution marketplace.
- Increase confidence when using computers.
- Instill courage to explore and try new things.
- Grow perseverance and critical thinking when tackling difficult problems.
- Provide a sense of belonging in technology for underrepresented learners (especially those living with disabilities).
- Demonstrate the impact that computer science has in careers and communities.
- Create a skill for research and content curation.
- Encourage children to be in tune with solving world problems.
Prerequisites
✔ The Kids Can Code Club is open to children ages 5 – 17 years
✔ Each child will need to have a computing device – (laptop or tablet)
